Dawg Pound Sports & Grill, Calhoun

We wanted to make one last stop in northern Georgia. Calhoun appears to be a dry town, however Dawg Pound sits just barely outside the city limits.

The place was busy but not packed. Despite this, we could not get the attention of the bartender. After about 5 minutes we gave up at the bar and moved to a table.

It took another 5 minutes for a server to notice us. She was really nice, just didn’t notice us.

By then we decided to do just one quick shot and get the hell out. We asked for whatever was on special, which turned out to be some sort of black cherry shot.

Several minutes later they finally arrived. They tasted like cough medicine. We left our money on the table and got out of there.
