Scooter’s 828th bar, first visited in 2010.

Kel's Place, Atwood

This small-town bar is almost completely absent from the internet. I could find no information other than that it exists. I couldn’t even get an address, I had to pull that from its liquor license info at the Illinois ABC web site. I could not find a phone number or any other info.

Kel’s is a big open room with an L-shaped bar in the far back. There’s a stage in the front, pool tables, Silver Strike, foosball, video poker, and an Extreme Hunting game. There’s also a stage in the front of the bar.

We played a game of Silver Strike that was going very well for both of us, until B “broke” the game in the 10th frame. :(
