The Dotte Spot, Kansas City

Nice strip-mall dive-ish bar with great staff. Serves food and has a separate party room that can be reserved at no charge. We got too caught up talking to the bartender to notice if there was a pool table or any other games besides video poker, but there is a small patio off the east side.

Elevate Bar & Grill, Kansas City

This is a brand new upscale bar & grill focusing on cocktails and southern cuisine. A very nice spot with friendly staff, though $5 for a Bud Light bottle was a bit of a surprise.
