Scooter’s 1580th bar, first visited in 2022.

The newest brewery in the KC area, took me while to get to it due to being so far out. Also has guest taps (all local brews) and a coffee shop in addition to their own beer.

I had the Snap Chaps Western IPA and the Thou Trellis coffee stout.

Yoga studio, rock climbing gym, coffee shop, and craft beer bar all under one roof! Of course I was here for only one of those things, but my brother made me order pizza and then he ordered a platter of cookies as well.

One cool aspect, the green wall in the photos is real miss that gets all the moisture it needs to stay alive from the air.

Beer-wise, I had the Mornin’ Latte Nitro by Toppling Goliath Brewing Company.

Scooter’s 1431st bar, first visited in 2020.

I never got a chance to visit them when they were in Spring Hill, and then had to wait forever for them to re-open in Olathe followed by then waiting for me to have to motivation to drive all the way to Olathe.

The tap room is spacious/cavernous, and when it’s crowded like tonight it’s rather loud. There’s a BBQ food truck in the back.

I had Elaine Rye Porter, Pretty Potion (witbier) — which looked a little scary but ended up being my favorite of the three, and Melissa (oatmeal stout).

Another private club. After showing the bartender our out-of-state (Missouri) IDs, we were allowed to sign in as new registrations.

As we entered the bar we noticed a tough looking guy standing outside in hot pants. D asked the bartender about it and she was puzzled at first, then realized what he was talking about.

“Haha! That’s the owner!” she laughed. “We’re always kidding him about it, telling him Daisy Duke called asking for her shorts back.”

If you’re a guy and need to take a crap, you’re S.O.L. here. By the way, make sure no one is behind you when you are taking photos in a men’s room. Kinda embarrassing.

This was also a private club, but we were allowed in as guests. The bartender insisted on selling us a pitcher of Bud Light.

We didn’t want to drink all that beer so after one each we gave the remainder of our pitcher to a group at a nearby table.

I had a Bud Light while B & D both had Bud Select. We found a Silver Strike machine, where I proceeded to bowl my second worst game in nearly 2 years. At least I managed to use the correct restroom on the first try.

Note the stripper pole…

D found a bar game that dispenses porno DVDs as the prizes! We couldn’t decide between “Peter Girls” and “Heat Strokes” though.

Bad news… the machine ended up eating B’s quarter.

I nearly used the women’s restroom for the second time today! Luckily I was corrected by a passing server. In my defense, the doors of both restrooms were propped open, hiding the signs. Though B&D both insist there was exterior signage that I overlooked.
