Scooter’s 1777th bar, first visited in 2024.

If not for all the road construction in this area making walking no fun, this brewery actually would have been walkable from my hotel despite being in another state.

There’s a small patio in front and there happened to be a food truck here today, unsure how regular that is.

I had the Rustica Red and the Shred Sled (American IPA).

Originally I didn’t plan to come here because of the late opening time, but because it took me so long to get an Uber to Junkyard Brewing, this cocktail bar was just opening as I finished at Junkyard. On paper is was a short walk, but road construction + heavy traffic + a pair of train tracks made for a rather unpleasant very short walk.

I considered getting some pizza here but they didn’t have any offerings suitable for just one person. So I had a cocktail (Fairway Smash — description in photos), then decided to get an Uber to the next place, since the much longer walk would return through the same construction zone and cross rail tracks again.

Based on my research this seems to be the most popular brewery in the Fargo-Moorhead area, and it actually has a second location in West Fargo that I didn’t visit since it was serving the same tap list.

This brewery is best known for its sours — a style I generally don’t like — butthey did have a few other options that were more my sped. I had the CocoMondo (cream ale) and the Take 5 (Peanut Butter Stout infused with pretzels, peanuts, and caramel).
