Scooter’s 1015th bar, first visited in 2014.

Puxico Bar, Puxico

This bar, which looks like it was originally a house, features an L-shaped counter and a couple of pool tables. Cooled by window units, the bartender offered to turn one on near me if I got to hot. No taps, just cans and bottles.

The jukebox was playing classic country (1950s-1970s) and most of the people in the bar were singing along.
