Scooter’s 1062nd bar, first visited in 2014.

When I asked about the age of the place, the bartender told me the original bar had burned four years ago so the interior is actually fairly new. Pictures of the restoration posted on Facebook give the impression that the original bar was located on the east side of the wall, where was is now the back dining room and the patio are located. The building now housing the bar had plaster removed during the renovation to reveal all of the original stone underneath.

The centerpiece of the back dining room is a large stone fireplace. It would be a great place to sit to enjoy drinks or a meal on a winter evening.

By the way, the appetizers we ordered here were delicious.
