Scooter’s 994th bar, first visited in 2013.

Centerfield, Shubert

This place is kind of unusually shaped. The bar forms a central core (floor to ceiling), and the space wraps around it. Around what would be considered the “back” is a shuffleboard, pool tables, and a stage. Outside is a beer garden.

One strange thing about our visit — and it may have just been that they had just recently been cleaning — is that there was an overpowering smell of “urinal mints” hanging in the air while we were seated at the bar. I hope that’s not normal?
