Scooter’s 1749th bar, first visited in 2024.

My picture is of the back because from the front it look closed, but when we circled back around the block to go elsewhere we found that the alley entrance looked open.

We popped in here for some dive bar drinks before returning to out campsite. Unfortunately we got a video alert that one of our dogs was freaking out back in our RV due to fireworks being shot nearby, so we had to chug our first round and run.

I had a gin and tonic.

Scooter’s 1748th bar, first visited in 2024.

We stopped in here for dinner after setting up camp, after checking online menus and determining this looked like our best option. The food was surprisingly good, who’d have ever through that one of the best orders of fish & chips I’ve ever had (walleye) would come from a bar in a small town in South Dakota?

There was not any outdoor seating at the time of our visit, but the opening of a new patio was imminent so I went ahead and marked this as having outdoor seating as it is probably open by now.

In addition to my meal I had a SUPERCOW (imperial milk stout) by Look’s Beer.
