After I left Silver Moon Bar I began walking to Severance Brewing by way of the walking paths through Falls Park. But after making my way up the hill, with the brewery in sight only about 200 feet away, I encountered a construction fence. Finding no way around, I had to backtrack all the way to the park entrance and start over using the longer city sidewalks route. By the time I finally got here, I was tired.

The brewery was pretty busy, but post of the people were outside on the patio. There was a concert taking place at a public amphitheater just over a block away and the music was spilling up into here.

I had a Smōktoberfest (their recently-tapped smoked oktoberfest beer) and a Monster Cookie (oatmeal stout).

After finishing here I walked past the outdoor concert and returned to my room. Beat and buzzed, I settled in front of the TV to stay in the rest of the night.

The ride to Silver Moon would be my last Uber ride of this vacation apart from tomorrow’s trip to the airport — everything from this point on would be walking.

The bar was prepped and ready for a birthday party, and I felt a bit about of place as I seemed to be the only person who wasn’t there to see the birthday girl (who arrived near the end of my visit).

This bar is very biker friendly, and several of them were sitting out on the deck outside the east end of the building.

One cool item I noticed near where I was sitting is a very realistic 3-D model of the building. It’s in the pictures below. Also, the bar is known for having funny messages on its sign out front.

I had a Budweiser.
