Scooter’s 1801st bar, first visited in 2024.

Hi Ho Tavern, Sioux Falls

Hi-Ho Tavern (also listed as Walter’s Hi-Ho Casino) is a cash-only, beer-only dive bar located just a little bit east of downtown Sioux Falls. Close enough that I probably could have walked to it had it been on my schedule for the previous night.

This was another bar participating in the poker run, and unlike the others earlier in the day it was packed with poker run participants. This made it a bit of a challenge for me to get any decent interior pics as there was only a brief moment when a group left that I could take a picture of the bar without my camera pointing directly at someone’s face due to the bar’s U-shaped design. A separate small room off to the side was filled with casino games.

Though I’d heard rumor of a good beer selection here, since the bartender was rather busy I just had a Budweiser rather than have him rifle through the beer cooler to read off the options.
