The original plan was for today to have so many breweries for us to visit that we were worried how we would accomplish it. But because we got such a late start, and because of stomach issues relating to three days of heavy drinking, and (as we would later learn) trying to return the rental car after dark was going to suck, we decided to drop into just one more place before heading back into the city.

It’s official, playgrounds for the kids must be the default setting for breweries out here in the country.

I had the Urkranian Krvass (which I had to add to Untappd there at our table in order to log it) and the West Coast IPA.

We had originally planned an Austin Trip for 2019 specifically to come to this brewery, but that fell through (was replaced with Des Moines) so today was make-up day.

My friend is a huge fan of Supernatural, and co-star Jensen Ackles is one of the owners here so we had to visit even though we knew the odds of running into him here would be very slim.

This place definitely takes the award in terms of the beauty/serenity of its outdoor seating area. The pics don’t do it justice. And, like Jester King, it also has a playground for the kids. There’s also a permanent food truck outside making pizza.

I had the Haulin’ Oats (brown ale) and The Grackle (imperial stout).
