Scooter’s 1386th bar, first visited in 2019.

Shirley's Neighborhood Tavern, Cartersville

I found this gem located on Historic Route 66, about halfway between my exit and a brewery I was heading to.

I later learned had only been open about 7 months, having been re-built and re-opened by new owners after a fire destroyed it in 2017.

This was a really cool neighborhood bar with a very nice bartender. Not include in my photos, a pretty big outdoor seating area behind a privacy wall.

Despite how my pictures look there were actually about 15-20 people in here and it became busier during my visit, as both a birthday party and karaoke were preparing to start. I just happened to catch a couple of moments where people had moved from one section of the room to another.

I had Guinness.
