Scooter’s 1174th bar, first visited in 2016.

For almost the entire visit I thought this was an outdoor-only bar, sitting out at a picnic table with my beer. It was only as we were leaving that I found out there was actually a main building with an indoor bar on the other side, so I went in for a quick shot. This was also when I leared there were real restrooms inside, after I’d already used the rickety outhouse.

Scooter’s 1170th bar, first visited in 2016.

Sat out on the patio and our little group was half the audience for a little band from Jefferson City. Pool tables were on an upper level inside, and the restaurant was in another area altogether.

I drank Black Butte Porter by Deschutes until the keg blew.
