Scooter’s 960th bar, first visited in 2012.

This and The Garage were the only two bars open on Pine Street this particular Saturday afternoon. I was really hoping for more from a college town. Oh well.

Fitter’s covers two floors of three downtown buildings and also has a pretty nice looking patio. I sat at the central bar, a rectangular bar island, which was pretty busy for that time of day.

I only had beer, but the menu’s focus is pizza, burgers, and wings.

Scooter’s 959th bar, first visited in 2012.

College sports bar, one of only a couple that were actually open on this particular Saturday afternoon. It occupies three connected buildings on the downtown strip. In addition to my beer I had an appentizer of jumbo grilled shrimp wrapped in jalapeño bacon that was even spicier than I expected!
