Scooter’s 1860th bar, first visited in 2025.
We rented a boat for the afternoon and docked here for drinks and snacks. I had I Drink Therefore I Amber by Fairhope Brewing Co., then later followed up with a cocktail.
I went back and forth several times as to whether to include this on this site, as we did not sit at the bar or even inside the building at all, and we had meals here. There are two other places we went to on this trip that I did not include on this site for similar reasons (Bahama Bob’s in Gulf Shores later this day, and CoastAL in Orange Beach the day before). The reason I decided to go ahead and include this because for me personally, my primary motivator in coming here was for drinks, the food was secondary. The other two places I mentioned I went to specifically for a meal, any drinks I got were incidental to the meal and since they were neither ordered at nor consumed near the bar and the drinks were not the reason for going to those places, I have chosen to leave those out.
