Scooter’s 1079th bar, first visited in 2015.
This was originally going to be our third Emporia stop, but after we learned of its quirky weekday hours we decided to move it to the front of the line rather than risk it. We had the chicken fingers special for lunch.
The double-sized bar takes up most of the main area, a secondary elevated room — which was closed at lunchtime — has a stage, pool table, and additional dining tables.
Old school condom machines in the men’s room…
I enjoyed the failed attempt to paint over the condom dispenser signage…
