Scooter’s 1785th bar, first visited in 2024.
Before long I needed to break up the monotony again, and my advance research showed this cash-only dive bar to be a good place for a break. It was a fun visit, and the bartender was friendly and informative. I had a Budweiser.
Apparently this was move-in week for the local university so the town’s population was in the process of rising by
20,000, explaining the mild difficulty I had finding a parking spot.
