Scooter’s 1055th bar, first visited in 2014.
This was another unplanned stop, being as that today was supposed to be about breweries. But when we found Ferguson Brewing Company to be closed for the holiday, we noticed this joint across the street open and stopped in.
We stayed in the relatively small dive bar area, but the majority of the building was restaurant space and outdoor seating, and there were a lot more people in the restaurant area.
Of course the elephant in the room was the recent riots and protests a few blocks away on the other side of town, and it was awkward trying to tread the line between not talking about it too much and not making it obvious we were deliberately trying not to bring it up.
